Stoney Creek Farm is located near the small village of Maungakaramea which lies about 20km south west of Whangarei in Northland, New Zealand.

Erik Hoenderdos and Sheryll Joass bought this magic property 18th December 2009. We had out grown our 10 acre block just down the road, saw this property and that was it.

For Sheryll it was just like coming home. There was so much potential, the house still needed completing (still does!) the gardens had great bones, just needed taming and finishing. The land had lots of rocks, a creek, views and was 23 acres, which was the main requirement for our horses.

But the most important thing was that there were sheds for both Erik with his Electrical Business & Sheryll for her craft work.

Erik & Sheryll both enjoy challenges and hard work so this property is a labour of love.

On our property we have 10 horses, 3 goats, 1 sheep, 3 dogs and 2 cats.
